Sustainability remains a priority for us. This year, we are continuing the “Timișoara Hungarian Cultural Days Go Greener” initiative launched in 2019, and we are doing everything we can to make our festival the greenest festival in Timișoara.
Achieving this goal is not easy, but if artists, vendors and volunteers join forces, we can successfully reduce the event’s environmental footprint. We therefore ask all participants to dispose of waste only in the designated containers.
Since 2023, the festival’s food stands have become fully eco-friendly: no plastic or plastic-derived products are used, and all packaging, plates and cutlery are made from environmentally friendly materials.
This year, to reduce plastic waste, we are once again offering reusable cups at the beer stands for 10 lei. You pay for them only once, and at the end of the event you can keep them as a souvenir, give them as a gift, or return them to the beer stands or the Info Tent.
